The St Augustine Celtic Music & Heritage Festival

The 9th annual  St. Augustine Celtic Music and Heritage Festival is this weekend  ~ March 8-10 at Francis Field.  

Listen to the many Celtic bands, including Bagpipe Jams, Albannach, Emmet Cahill, Screaming Orphans, Dublin City Ramblers, Steel City Rovers and Poor Angus.  

Do not forget to visit the wide variety of activities including 2 stages with live music, Highland games, Celtic food and merchandise.  If you enjoy whiskey there is a pre-festival Whiskey Tasting.

Check out the  St. Patrick’s Day parade  which begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday.  This parade is thought to be the First St. Patrick Day celebration in America -1600, and the first recorded St. Patrick Day Parade in the WORLD in 1601 !
